Modernising my Bathroom
Regular readers of my blog will have noticed that since the weather has been getting better, I have been thinking more and more of home improvements and redecorating. Over the last few weeks I have been experimenting with different lighting in my home and also creating more of a bohemian theme across my homes more ‘relaxing’ rooms. One room which I am yet to turn attention to however is my Bathroom, which I think would benefit from a few simple updates which will really modernise the room. I am not looking for any major changes, just a few tweaks to give it an update on a budget. I will run through some of my ideas below:
Designer Towel Rail
The plain white towel rail we have at the moment looks very dated. I did consider removing the towel rail completely, but would miss the feeling of a warm towel after a shower just too much! Scouting around online, I stumbled across this collection. A particular favourite of mine is this Black Designer Heated Towel Rail. It would be pretty much a straight swap in place of the old one and I think the black looks really sleek.
It’s a pretty well-known ‘secret’ Switching your taps to new, more modern designs is an incredibly quick way to modernise your entire bathroom easily and inexpensively. I have fallen in love lately, with the waterfall effect taps. The Eastgate range are some of the nicest I have seen.
These mirrors give out the perfect amount of light for getting ready. The LED bulbs within these mirrors last forever and I find these mirrors a really beautiful way of adding lighting to any bathroom. IP44 Rated, they are splash proof and resistant to bathroom moisture. You can view the full collection here.
Much like the knackered old towel rail, my radiators in the Bathroom also need a refresh. I will definitely be choosing a vertical designer radiator I think! In choosing this design, I feel that the vertical radiators increase the feeling of space within a bathroom.
