Did you know that there are 6 Disney Parks all over the world? I surely didn’t till now! Which Disney Park should I visit, I am stuck for choice! What one would you choose?
Disney Parks, originally called Walt Disney Attractions, is one of the major business segments handled by The Walt Disney Company. These parks which are situated in many parts of the world are replete with fun and entertainment as they offer theme parks, water parks, and family oriented leisures too. Disneyland Park is most famous theme park of the world. The first Disneyland Park was built-in Anaheim, California. The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of The Walt Disney Company owned and operate this theme park. The park was opened for the general public on July 18, 1955.
Hong Kong Disneyland, China
It was the first theme park built-in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and the other is Ocean Park Hong Kong. It officially opened on September 12, 2005. The park is owned by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks. The themed areas include Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Grizzly Gulch, Adventureland, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, and Tomorrowland. It is the smallest of the Disney parks in the world and welcomes only 34,000 visitors daily. There are plans to construct new additions to the park in the coming years!
Disney Resort, Tokyo
Tokyo Disney Resort is in Urayasu, Japan, as little as 15 minutes from Tokyo to the resort’s Maihama Station via the Japan Railway. At the resort, transportation between major attractions, including its nine hotels and two parks, is available by monorail or a shuttle service free to hotel guests. Resort parks include Tokyo Disneyland, similar to its Anaheim counterpart, and Tokyo DisneySea, a nautical-themed park with boat rides, motion simulators and roller coasters. Park-hopping is available only to those with three and four-day passes and only after the second day.
Shanghai Disney Resort
Shanghai Disney Resort is a themed resort in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is the first Disney park resort in mainland China and the second in Greater China, after the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The resort opened on June 16, 2016.
Disneyland Paris, France
Disneyland Paris was originally called “Euro Disney Resort”, and is owned by “Euro Disney S.C.A. It opened on April 12, 1992 and is the most visited park in France and Europe. It consists of two main theme parks―Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park. Many theme names are similar to the theme names in Florida, but there are changes to the rides. Also, the Adventureland is called the Discoveryland. It’s a Small World, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast are a few of the major attractions of the park.
Walt Disney World Resort, Florida
Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, claims four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, which features many of the same rides from Disneyland; the movie-themed Disney’s Hollywood Studios; Disney’s Animal Kingdom, an amusement park and zoo; and Epcot, an international-themed land where you can experience 11 different countries. The resort also has two waterparks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. Unique resort accommodations include Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, 750 acres for hiking, horseback riding, archery and canoeing. Bay Lake Tower and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are luxury hotels accessible via a complimentary water taxi.
Disneyland Park, California
Disneyland Park is a part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It was opened on July 17, 1955, as Disneyland, but later changed its name to ‘Disneyland Park’. This is the only theme park that was blessed by Walt Disney’s presence. This park has the most number of visitors, which is 650 million guests since it opened. The whole park consists of different themed areas called “lands” like Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mickey’s Toontown, Tomorrowland, and Critter Country (earlier, “Bear Country”). There is a new addition of the “Disney California Adventure Park“, where you can enjoy huge roller coasters. Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, A Bug’s Land are a few of the favorite rides and attractions.

I have always wanted to visit Disney Land Florida. I could imaging it being magical here 🙂
I am very lucky in that I have been to California, Florida and Paris. I would love to take my kids to California as my smallest is Cars mad and they have the Lightening Mcqueen ride but I love Harry Potter so it would have to be Florida for me

Wow so many parks around the world, I bet most people only think that there are two. We have been lucky enought do go to Paris and Florida and both were amazing. We love Disney and would happily go every year if we could afford it
