Christmas Letterbox Gift Cake Review + Giveaway

I was contacted by the lovely people at BakerDays to ask if I would love to review a lovely christmas Letterbox Gift Cake, as you can see from the above picture, it came in just a normal white box you can put through a letterbox, I opened it up to find a lovely Just for you Tin with the most beautiful cake inside, christmas cracker, a gingerbread christmas card and a BakerDays leaflet. I chose the Jolly Christmas Tree Scene Cake and had it personalised with both mine and scott’s name on it.

The Letterbox Gift Cake offers 3-4 portions of cake that is for a 5” Cake. we asked for a Vanilla Sponge Cake as we don’t like the other recipes they do.

Other recipes you can have for a Letterbox Cake are:

Chocolate Chip Sponge Cake made only with Belgian chocolate Cake.

Fruit Cake – add £2.00 extra to your order.

Gluten Wheat Free Cake – add £3.00 to your order.

Dairy Free Cake, also add £3.00 to your order.

You can buy a Letterbox cake for £14.99.

BakerDays also offer other sizes from Small, Medium and Large cakes.

How to order the cake of your choice:

Choose a category you want, BakerDays do a wide range of categories. Select the cake you want i.e design, size, recipe, then you can Buy or Personalise it, check your order details, then go to checkout, it’s as easy as that.

Mine and Scott’s beautiful Cake.

Scott didn’t realise that he cut me the piece with my name on it. He also had his piece with his name on it. I have to say that i don’t really like cake, but this cake was so yummy, it was so light and fluffy, even the icing was lovely, not to thick. The cake went down well with a nice cuppa tea as shown from the picture above. I will definitely order from this company again.
