About Love 2 Read

The aim of each unique book is to help your child develop a love of reading. It does this by presenting photographs which reflect your child’s world and relating them to simple words. Research shows that if your child loves books they will learn to read much faster and you will be encouraging a lifelong love of reading.

The key words in each book are known as high frequency words which are some of the first words your child will be taught to recognise when they start school. As they start to recognise these key words on sight (also know as the ‘look and say’ method of learning) their confidence builds.

Over the years the way of teaching children to learn to read has changed, although the current favoured method in British primaries is through phonics there is still a lot of emphasis on comprehension, high frequency words (often referred to as tricky words) and reading for pleasure.

If you buy 2 books your only paying £14.99 with free postage, normally 1 book is that price with a charge of £2, so its better to get 2 or more books and you save on the pounds.

This book would be a great gift for someone’s Birthday, or maybe for a Christmas Present as Christmas is not to far away.

  1. What a great idea to make reading more fun (though I love it anyway!) and a really sweet keepsake for both your children! I may have to have a look as a potential Christmas present!

  2. I have twins who both adore looking at books and we love reading with them as well now rather than just to them! This would be a lovely keepsake!

  3. I would love one of these for my little ones, my son is learning to read and this is a fantastic idea to help, and my daughter would love looking at the pictures and she is learning to speak so would also benefit her too, Fantastic idea xx

  4. We are in the process of teaching our little lad to read and I think these books are a fantastic idea so really want to win one. Thanks for the chance!
